Vanessa Oden is a proud Afro-Latina of Puerto Rican Heritage with extensive experience as an entertainer, educator and public speaker. Vanessa got her start as a performing artist as a teen performing in a variety of venues, and then moving on as a stage actress, poet, puppeteer, entreprenuer and educator. The Vanessa Oden Show was birthed April 2011 to showcase talk radio from a Latina Perspective.
Vanessa loves to engage the culture of today with exciting, energetic topics and current events from a Latina perspective! Vanessa graduated with her M.A. Degree in Education in 2012 from Patten University, with an emphasis in Educational Leadership. She also earned her B.A. Degree in Pastoral Studies from Patten University in 2004, and proudly graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Vanessa originated The Vanessa Oden Show to be a platform to discuss current events across cultures, sharing her perspective and bringing some more " Entertaining News and Discussion with a Latina Twist", to liven up the airwaves! Vanessa is also a proud wife to an amazing man and together they are blessed with five wonderful children. In her spare time she loves to travel, dance Salsa, cook, entertain and chat about what's going on in the world!
